LA PAZ, Bolivia-. Bolivian President Evo Morales saluted the 207th anniversary of Venezuela’s Declaration of Independence and assured that the peoples of the Great Fatherland will not allow the empire to threaten its sovereignty.

Morales also pointed out that the unity of peoples is important to defeat the conspiracies of the American Empire and highlighted the patriotic heritage of Simon Bolívar and Hugo Chavez.

The Bolivian President pointed out that Bolivar and Chávez are symbols of the libertarian forces of the Latin American peoples, their legacies will never be abandoned and with the unity of our peoples we will defeat conspiracies of the American Empire.

In 1811 seven Venezuelan provinces declared themselves as free states of all imperial domination, to ratify the will to fight for the definitive freedom led by Simon Bolívar.
