Cuba-rusiaHavana, cuba.-Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez welcomed today Russian First Vice Foreign Minister Vladimir Titov, who is paying an official visit to this country.

According to the Cuban Foreign Ministry website, during the meeting, Rodriguez and Titov talked about the excellent state of the bilateral relations and their prospects.

The visiting official also met with the vice president of the Minister Council and minister of Economy and Planning, Ricardo Cabrisas, who is also co-president of the Cuba-Russia Inter-Government Commission.

In their meeting, Cabrisas and Titov made a positive assessment of the progress of the economic-trade relation and the development of joint projects in different sectors, according to an official press release.

Titov, who chairs the Russian delegation participating in the annual meeting on inter-foreign-ministry political consultations, also talked with Cuban Vice Foreign Minister Marcelino Medina about points in the bilateral and multilateral agenda, as well as about other topical international issues.
