Havana, Cuba.- A statement issued on Monday in Havana by GSAR Marketing announced that during the London World Travel Market, the organizers ratified this city as the host of the 22nd MITM Americas Fair.

The report said that at the British tourism fair (November 6-7), the GSAR Marketing CEO, Charo Trabado, gave the fair dossier to the Cuban Minister of Tourism, Manuel Marrero, and Melia Hotels International CEO, Gabriel Escarrer.

This decision will ratify Havana as hosting the meeting scheduled for next October 14-17.

The release says the meeting will also coincide with Havana’s 500th anniversary celebrations (November 16, 2019).

These projects are part of the strategic plan developed by Cuba’s Ministry of Tourism (MINTUR).

Trabado and Marrero had the opportunity to share impressions about the next edition’s development and objectives.

During the meeting with Escarrer, Trabado had the opportunity to thank Melia Hotels International for the support it has given to MITM Events since 1997, especially as the main sponsors of the three editions held in Cuba.

GSAR Marketing has successfully organized since 1997, 49 fairs in America and Europe aimed exclusively at tourism professionals, scheduling B2B appointments and with a high-level networking plan to ensure communication between all participants.
