This will was evident in a meeting between Spanish Chancellor Josep Borrell and Cuban First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Marcelino Medina, during a work visit to the European country.

During his stay, the Cuban Vice-Minister held several meetings, where both States noted the close historical, cultural and family ties they share, which are based on positive bilateral relations.
