SANTIAGO DE CHILE, Chile.- The President of Chile, Sebastian Pinera, reiterated his willingness to held long-range and fluid dialogues with Bolivia on cooperation, but in accordance to the decision of The Hague.

Chile has open doors to talk with Bolivia in a constructive way. We have many things in common like protecting our common borders from drug trafficking and taking advantage of the development of renewable energies, Pinera said.

But at the same time, the Chilean President was emphatic in pointing out that a normal and fruitful relationship between neighbors, as is the case, will only be possible if Bolivia respects the treaties signed and abides by the ruling of the International Court of Justice.

The Court judges dismissed the Bolivian demand over the sovereign exit to the sea. Its president Abdulqawi Ahmed remarked that Chile did not contract the legal obligation to negotiate sovereign access to the Pacific Ocean for the plurinational State of Bolivia.
