ADDIS ABABA, Ethiopia.- The African Union convened this Thursday to the second phase of 2018 Research Grant, a program urging to carry out studies on food, nutritional security and sustainable agriculture in the continent.

This call for proposals supports 2024 Africa’s Science and Scientific Innovation Strategy, which addresses the aspirations identified in 2063 Program and Priority 3 on Human Development of the European-African Union.

The African Union Research Grant is one of the projects initiated within the Department of Human Resources, Science and Technology.

The program offers the opportunity to use science and technology as tools for sustainable development, building and strengthening Africa’s science and technology capabilities.
