Havana, Cuba.- The First International Symposium on Quality Health 2019 will take place in this capital from March 27 to 29 with the attendance of prestigious national and foreign organizations, the organizers has announced.

The event, which will be held at the International Health Center (CIS) La Pradera, plans to discuss patient quality and safety worldwide, regionally and Cuba’s experience, so it will be a space for reflection and agreement, they said.

According to them, the scientific forum will foster exchange on current and future challenges, on issues such as the safety and quality of medical care, certification and accreditation of health institutions and certification of management systems.

Specialists and officials will also discuss teaching, research and quality in health, current policies and programs that support and contribute to patient quality and safety.

The conclave is organized by the Cuban Ministry of Public Health (Minsap), the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) and the CIS La Pradera.
