Diaz-Canel starts government visit to Havana.

HAVANA, Cuba.- The Cuban Council of Ministers, headed by its President, the head of State Diaz-Canel, begins this Thursday a government visit to Havana to evaluate the progress of social and economic programs.

This is the second tour the dignitary and other leaders and ministers carry out by the provinces, in the second stage of a working method, which had its first stop in Santiago de Cuban mid-March.

The first cycle culminated last February in Las Tunas, so the new route has as a priority to verify compliance with the indications issued in the previous one to improve the quality of life of the population and promote economic development from the territories.

It is expected that during his government visit to Havana, Diaz-Canel dialogue with people, visit productive centers, schools and universities, as he has done throughout the island.
