HAVANA, Cuba.- The Cuban President, Miguel Diaz-Canel, said this   Thursday that our people will demonstrate their unity, commitment and faith in the victory on International Workers´ Day.

Next May 1st, our heroic people, led by their working class, throughout the country, will give a new and forceful demonstration of unity, commitment and victory, the President published on Twitter, referring to the words by Jose Ramon Machado Ventura, Second Secretary of the Communist Party, who gave the closing remarks at the 21st Congress of CTC.

He also highlighted the bravery and resilience of Cubans in the face of obstacles and threats, regarding the increase of the United States government´s aggressiveness against the island.

Diaz-Canel highlighted the values of Cubans with a reference to the speech by the Party Second Secretary, at the closing of the CTC Congress, which states that we have learned in the struggle that victory belongs to those who resist and fight.
