HAVANA, Cuba. – The Havana World Music Festival prepares its fifth edition and announces a program with world-class artists, its organizers confirmed this Monday.

The artistic director of the event, Eme Alfonso, said it will be held from the March 22 to 24 and proposes a program of concerts with local and foreign groups, with the Metropolitan Park as main seat.

She noted that, under the slogan Music Can Fix Everything, the organizers of the festival offer a program that shows the diversity of music in the world.

Among the most attractive of the Havana World Music Festival there are the performances of Orishas Cuban trio, the first one on the island since its reunification, the Lolo Lovina Australian band, and The Chicken Brothers, from England.

Orishas Will Sing Cuba Beautiful Island for the First Time Live

Orishas, the most representative band of Cuban hip Hop, will perform live, for the first time, its theme Cuba Beautiful Island, on March 24, at the closing concert of the Havana World Music Festival.

Yotuel Romero, member of the group, thanked Eme Alfonso for the invitation to the Festival and said that in the concert, to be held in the Metropolitan Park of Havana, all the artists involved in the single´s recording will participate.
