San Jose, Costa Rica.- Havana’s city historian Eusebio Leal arrived in San Jose today invited by the Presidency, which will award him the National Order Juan Mora Fernandez in the Rank of the Grand Cross, Silver Plate.

Leal’s agenda also includes a tour of the central market of San Jose and a visit to the National Theater in the capital city, which was recently declared one of the 14 national symbols of Historical Architectural Heritage and Cultural Freedom of the Nation.

The Morista Academy will also award him the Morista Order of Merit, while the municipality of San Jose will give him the award Pergamino de Visitante Distinguido.

On Saturday, Leal will give the lecture ‘The social and cultural work in the restoration of the Historical Center of Havana’, at the auditorium of the Buenaventura Corrales School (Edificio Metalico), Architectural Heritage of Costa Rica.

The activity will be attended by general education teachers, members of the diplomatic corps settled in this country, parliamentarians, members of the Movement of Solidarity with Cuba, Cubans settled in Costa Rica, specialists from various cultural fields, students and university professors.

Leal will be awarded later the National Order Juan Mora Fernandez in the Rank of the Grand Cross, Silver Plate, named after the first head of State of Costa Rica.
