Havana, Cuba.- Cuban developers will participate for fourth time in the Global Game Jam, world”s largest, in which they will create a fun video game, the official press reported today.

Developers will try to create fun, creative and experimental products at the Havana-based University of Computer Sciences, from January 26 to 29, Granma newspaper confirmed.

About 64 teams and 320 participants have been registered for the event, the Cuban newspaper said.

Programmers, designers, modelers, musicians and illustrators are working to create their own video game in 48 hours during the Global Game Jam.

The event has a global range, and the Cuban institution will be synchronized with more than 700 sites around the world.

The Global Game Jam aims to encourage innovation and experimentation in the field of recreational software, according to its official website.
