HAVANA, Cuba.- The Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba sent a message of sincere congratulations to its counterpart in Vietnam, on the occasion of the 130th anniversary of the birth of legendary President Ho Chi Minh.

According to Granma newspaper, the text describes as indestructible the friendship between the two nations, and exalts, like their architects, the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution and the father of the Vietnamese independence.

The message emphasizes that affective closeness, forged in the fight against American aggression on the Asian peninsula, is a true example, when solidarity and cooperation are needed to save lives in the face of the pandemic.

The missive from the Communist Party of Cuba to its Vietnamese counterpart reiterates the decision to continue strengthening relations with that organization, which guides the people and new generations in the construction of the socialist homeland.
