HAVANA, Cuba.- The Cuban Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodriguez, denounced that the United States appeals to slanders to justify its aggressive policy against Cuba and its interests of domination in Latin America.

Through his account in Twitter, the Chancellor regretted that decisions related to whole peoples are in the hands of a dangerous, irresponsible team of foreign policy without any credibility.

In that sense, Rodriguez explained that among the most infamous lies of senior American officials is to allude to the presence of Cuban troops in Venezuela, calling thugs to the more than 20000 Cuban cooperators in that country, and accusing the island of invading and controlling it.

The Cuban Government considers these actions a clear advance towards a course of confrontation, because the activation of Title III of the Helms-Burton Act reinforces the blockade.
