Cuba defends its sovereignty

Cuba rejects European Parliament’s stance.

HAVANA, Cuba. – The Committee on International Relations of the National Assembly of People’s Power rejected a Joint Resolution adopted by the majority of the European Parliament, for its content interfering with Cuban sovereignty.

That pronouncement responds to the new slander campaign orchestrated by the U.S. government as part of its failed policy of hostility and aggression against Cuba.

The Committee on International Relations expressed concern that a group of MEPs from some right-wing political forces within the European Parliament have gone along with this anti-Cuban maneuver.

Washington finances activities that violate the constitutional order in force in Cuba, trying to recruit mercenaries to artificially manufacture the opposition they want, in the absence of legitimate support for their purposes of domination, as is the case of Jose Daniel Ferrer.
