MATANZAS, Cuba. – Dang Thi Goc Thinh, Vice-President of Vietnam, and her delegation visited, on Wednesday, Varadero Spa in Matanzas province, the most important Cuban sun and beach pole.

Ivis Fernandez, delegate of the Ministry of Tourism in the territory, explained to the visitors the growth of the housing plant, with more than 21 thousand rooms, and the execution of important investments.

Vietnam’s Vice-President highlighted her country’s growing interest in investing in Cuba, particularly Matanzas, in areas of infrastructure and tourism services, as well as telecommunications.

In addition, Mario Sabines, Vice-President of the Provincial Assembly of People´s Power in Matanzas, explained to the distinguished visitor details about the main productions and social development of that region.
