HAVANA, Cuba.- The President of the Councils of State and Ministers, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, received Venezuela’s Executive Vice- President Delcy Rodriguez Gomez, also General Secretary of the Somos Venezuela Movement.

During the fraternal meeting, they exchanged on bilateral commitments on cooperation between Cuba and Venezuela, as well as on the recent 7774 regular session of the UN General Assembly and other issues.

It was also known that Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel and Chancellor Bruno Rodriguez sent congratulatory messages to their counterparts in Cyprus on the occasion of the 59th anniversary of that country’s independence.

In both missives, the will to continue to strengthen friendship and relations promoted by the two nations since 1961 was ratified.
