Havana, Cuba.- Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel condemned on Thursday a new measure against Cuba as part of the continued hostility of the United States.

In an exchange with Caimanera municipality residents, in the eastern province of Guantanamo, Diaz-Canel revealed that an important website, without revealing its name, erased all Cuban hotels from its pages, which he considered a further act of aggression against the Caribbean nation.

According to a brief video posted on the Presidencia Cuba Twitter account, the Cuban president also referred to the actions taken by the Cuban authorities to counter US moves aimed at preventing fuel supplies from reaching Cuba.

‘The US government continues to pressure us, but we are resisting and overcoming,’ the Cuban president also told Caimanera residents. It is worth recalling the presence very close to this municipality of the US naval base that has been imposed since 1903.

It was also reported that Diaz-Canel previously met with Caimanera authorities to review the territory’s development program.

The Cuban president began on Thursday the second government visit to Guantanamo province to review economic and social development programs.
