Cuban children.

HAVANA, Cuba.-On occasion of the Universal Children’s Day, also dedicated to the anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, the Cuban younger generation will raise their voices for unprotected children, who do not attend schools.

Justin Forsai, Deputy Executive director of UNICEF, said that from various parts of the world children will be mobilized in schools and communities to send a message to help saving lives, fighting for their rights and developing their full potential.

The United Nations Children’s Fund invites kids from all over the planet to raise their voices against bullying, discrimination and injustice.

Despite the progress of recent years, there are 385 millions of children in the world living in extreme poverty, and many others out of schools or dying from preventable causes.
