The Cuban Chancellor denounces US pressure on UN vote.

HAVANA, Cuba.- Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez denounced the U.S. government’s new maneuvers against some Latin American countries to force them to change their vote in Cuba’s favor at the United Nations.

The Chancellor posted on Twitter that the State Department has deployed intense lobbying, particularly against six Latin American countries, to force them to change their traditional vote.

Bruno Rodríguez explained that the island has the unanimous support of the Latin American peoples and the world, and hopes that no government will submit to the opinions of Washington.

As it is a tradition since 1992, the Cuban government has received the resounding support of the majority of the international community, presenting each year the resolution of the Need to End the Blockade Imposed by the United States on the Island.
