MONTREAL, Canada. – The Cuban Minister of Tourism, Manuel Marrero, develops a broad agenda of activities in Canada, the main issuer of travelers to the Caribbean island.

Josefina Vidal, Cuban ambassador to Canada, explained on her Twitter account that the delegation led by Marrero traveled to Canada to update Canadian professionals on developments and national tourism development.

As part of his tour, Marrero spoke in the cities of Montreal and Toronto with entrepreneurs, operators, and airline and travel agency representatives about the Cuban destination, and highlighted that more than one million Canadians visit the island each year.

In one of his meetings, the Cuban Minister of Tourism said that Cuba is and will remain a destination of peace, healthy and safe for Canadians, and that they will always find Cuba with open arms to receive them as they are, a great family.
