CARACAS, Venezuela.- Venezuela is preparing for the World Meeting of Social Movements and Political Parties to be held in the country next April, the First Vice-President of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, Diosdado Cabello, announced.

Cabello said the event will be held to tell the world the situation the nation is going through in the face of the imposition of coercive, unilateral and arbitrary measures applied by the United States against the Venezuelan people.

The First Vice-President of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela pointed out that it will also be a denouncing space for the right’s destabilizing actions to justify an armed aggression against the country.

Cabello emphasized that World Meeting of Social Movements and Political Parties will mobilize progressive forces in support of the recent complaint against Washington in The Hague.
