CARACAS, Venezuela.- Venezuela’s Minister of Land Transport Hipolito Abreu denounced the sabotage perpetrated in the Caracas Metro in order to affect transport in the capital.

Through his account on Twitter digital social network, the Minister reported that days ago a sabotage was reported in MetroCable Mariche, and now Line Two of the Caracas Metro is sabotaged in two inductive boxes located between Mamera Station and Caricuao.

Abreu noted that these actions seek to destabilize the country and create unfavorable moods, to promote disorder. He also detailed that the working class is facing this new attack.

Recently, several opposition MPs urged private carriers to stop service or raise prices, in order to unleash a revolt among the population, while the State promotes alternatives for Christmas holidays.
