Judge attend defense request about Lul
BRAZILIA, BRAZIL.- Judge Luiz Edson Fachin, from the Federal Supreme Court, answered a request for the defense of Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and decided to suspend a testimony of the former Brazilian President scheduled for this Friday.

The lawyers of the former workers´ leader argued they did not have access to a series of reports and verdicts, a fact that limited the defense’s actions.

According to Brazilian authorities, Lula would respond to alleged money laundering and corruption offences, accusations rejected by those responsible for their defense, that claim there is no concrete evidence of his alleged involvement in the facts attributed to him.

Likewise, the lawyers of the former Brazilian President say that since March 2016, the former head of State is a direct victim of indictments to destroy his trajectory, built in more than forty years of public life.
