Havana, Cuba.- Trade authorities from Cuba and France signed an agreement in Havana to collaborate in a knowledge transfer program funded by the French Development Agency (AFD).

Representatives of the Cuban Center for Foreign Trade and Investment Promotion (ProCuba) and Business France penned the document, according to a press release published on Friday.

The text adds that Business France will gather a team of experts to help ProCuba, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and the Cuban Chamber of Commerce to strengthen their capacity to attract investments and promote exports. The agreement with the French agency, which has more than 35 years of experience in attracting foreign investments and reinvestments, will have a duration of 30 months.

This cooperation program will be implemented in two sectors that are prioritized by Cuban authorities and are included in the AFD agenda.
