PARIS, France. – The Cuba Cooperation France Association divulged the negative consequences for the Cuban population, caused by recent measures by the United States government reinforcing the blockade imposed on the island.

The organization recalls in its weekly digital publication that President Donald Trump has taken strong steps to seek the collapse of the Cuban economy.

The text signed by its founder, Roger Grévul, makes available to the French explanations by the Cuban authorities on the situation created by the aggressive escalation of Washington and the measures taken to counter them.

The article highlights the conviction that the siege will receive a near-unanimous new condemnation at the United Nations General Assembly next November 7, where 27 years ago the international community adopted a resolution on the need to end the blockade.
