MEXICO CITY, Mexico.- The rapporteur of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights for Colombia, Bolivia and Venezuela, Francisco Jose Eguiguren, revealed his intention to form an interdisciplinary and international group of experts to investigate the events occurred after the elections of October 20.

Evo Morales has expressed support for Eguiguren’s proposal to organize an external group to investigate the events in the country that followed his resignation.

After the self-proclaimed proclamation of opposing lawmaker Jeanine Anez, two major repressive events were recorded in Bolivia: in El Alto and Cochabamba.

Through Twitter, the indigenous leader called the government’s actions a de facto massacre and expressed that there is no rule of law in his country today, as local human rights organizations are besieged by fascist violent groups.
