LA PAZ, Bolivia. – Bolivia’s Deputy Minister of Environment, Cynthia Silva, said her country is interested in learning about Cuba’s model for facing climate change, better known as Life Task.

The expert added that the two nations are defending coincidental positions on this issue, but her nation wants to know more about this model, designed by the island to mitigate the aftermath of the phenomenon.

The Bolivian Deputy Minister of Environment said they have a plan with similar purposes but they are improving it, and anticipated that the Cuban Environment Agency will support Bolivia in boosting research management and perfecting such processes.

Silva explained that there is a collaboration agreement signed with the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment of Cuba, from which it is intended to deepen information exchanges and joint work.
