HAVANA, Cuba.- The 31st anniversary of the proclamation of the Palestinian State and the International Day of Solidarity with its people, were celebrated at the headquarters of the Arab Union of Cuba this Monday before representatives of the island, the diplomatic corps and Palestinian students.
The event was a reaffirmation of the Cuban Revolution’s unconditional support for the Palestinian cause against the genocidal policies of Israel and the United States.
The Cuban Association of the United Nations reiterated its call on all States and international agencies to demand an immediate cessation of the Israeli army’s massacre against this Arab people and to end its expansionist policies.
Hero of the Republic of Cuba Fernando Gonzalez stated that as continuators of the legacy of Yasser Arafat and Fidel Castro, we will not yield in our positions in favor of independence, sovereignty and social justice.
