MOSCOW, Russia.- Russian President Vladimir Putin met in Moscow with his Bolivian counterpart Evo Morales, to address issues of cooperation between the two countries, and to exchange views on major international and regional issues.

Following the meeting, the two representatives held a press conference in which they addressed the main topics covered. Putin assured that negotiations with the Bolivian President were conducted constructively and substantively.

We have discussed the full range of topics of Russian-Bolivian interaction; we have analyzed current international and regional problems. I would like to emphasize that Bolivia is a former partner of Russia in Latin America, the Russian leader pointed out.

The statement confirmed the truly strategic nature of Russian-Bolivian cooperation, and expressed a strong intention for its integral development, Putin added.
