Havana, Cuba.-After the successful completion of its European tour, Cuban band Maykel Blanco y su Salsa Mayor is currently organizing a tour of South America to promote his latest album “Que no me quiten la fe.”
For the first time, the band will perform in Chile, on August 12 at Orixas salsa club. Later, the orchestra will play for second time in Argentina, on August 13, at La Trastienda Club in Buenos Aires and in Rumbavana dance club in Rosario, on August 14.

But before leaving for Latin America, the band will give concerts this month in Pinar del Rio and Havana, as posted in its official Facebook website.

The orchestra recently gave 27 concerts in 11 European countries. There, the band “lived a million of cute sensations and experiences,” its director, Maykel Blanco, posted in the social network.

This popular dance music band is promoting its CD “Que no me quiten la fe.” Produced under Planet Records label, the album climbed to the top of Billboard charts some few weeks after its release.

Maykel Blanco has been directing the band since 2004. The orchestra has defended the Cuban music roots, with an updated sound, according to its website.
